Information We Collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect information such as your name, email address, telephone number, reservation details, booking information, party size, special requests, transaction information, gift card or voucher information, and communications you send to us. When a reservation, booking, gift card, voucher, or payment is handled by a third-party platform, some information may be collected directly by that provider.
Information Collected Automatically
When you use our website, certain technical information may be collected automatically, including IP address, browser and device information, operating system, referring pages, pages visited, approximate location based on IP address, and website interaction information. Cookies and similar technologies may also be used to operate the website, remember preferences, understand usage, and improve the guest experience.
How We Use Information
We may use information to process and manage lounge reservations and escape-room bookings; communicate confirmations, reminders, cancellations, or changes; process purchases, gift cards, vouchers, promotions, or refunds; respond to questions; improve our services; maintain safety and security; prevent fraud or misuse; send marketing communications where permitted; and comply with legal, regulatory, accounting, and business requirements.
Reservations and Third-Party Services
The Cipher Lounge uses third-party providers to support portions of our operations, including services such as Resova for escape-room reservations and related booking services, Tableo for lounge reservations and related booking services, Toast for restaurant point-of-sale, payments, gift cards, and related restaurant services, and Google services for maps, directions, calendar information, reservations, analytics, or other website functionality. Information you provide through those services may also be governed by the provider’s own privacy policy and terms. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites or services.
Payment Information
Payments may be processed by third-party payment processors. The Cipher Lounge does not intend to collect or store complete payment-card numbers through this website itself. Payment information provided through Toast, Resova, or another payment provider is handled according to that provider’s security practices and policies.
Cookies and Analytics
We may use cookies, analytics technologies, or similar tools to understand website traffic and performance and improve our website. Third-party services embedded in or linked from our website may also use cookies or similar technologies according to their own policies. Where legally required, users may be provided choices regarding nonessential cookies.
Marketing Communications
If you elect to receive promotional communications, we may use the contact information you provide to send information about events, experiences, promotions, or other updates. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe option in the communication. Transactional messages relating to an existing reservation or purchase may still be sent when necessary.

We may disclose information to service providers that assist with reservations, payments, website hosting, communications, analytics, security, customer service, or other business operations. Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, enforce agreements, protect our rights or property, or protect the safety of guests, employees, or others.
Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain appropriate business and transaction records, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and enforce agreements. Retention periods may differ depending on the information and system involved.
Data Security
We take reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect information in our possession. However, no internet transmission or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
